Cleaning Limestone Floors
- Do vacuum or dust mop daily, and damp mop periodically with a solution of water and a pH neutral cleaner for stone. Kleen Stone is an excellent cost effective concentrated cleaner for limestone care.
- Do use a good heavy duty cleaner for tougher and more dirty marble. Powerful Stone and Tile Cleaner is specifically designed for the periodic heavy duty jobs. Biodegradable agents and easy to use.
- Do consider using Eco Pads in conjunction with a residential floor buffing machine (available for rent or purchase at equipment rental or appliance stores) for the preservation of the factory finish. No chemicals are used so the process is certainly eco-friendly.
- Do travertine sealing periodically. It is easy to do using a good safe impregnator such as Travertino and Marmo Impregnator. Low odor, minimal VOC’s, and premium performance. It is your best Limestone sealer!
